What is a pressure switch?

A pressure switch signals the pressure of liquid or gaseous media through a set setpoint (SP). As soon as the set value (SP) is reached, the circuit closes or opens. A pressure switch switches as soon as the SetPoint is reached and switches back as soon as the pressure falls below the SetPoint. There is a delay in this due to the hysteresis. This is fixed and can be found in the documentation.

A pressure switch requires a control signal which can be switched by means of voltage or compressed air. Available in the following materials: aluminum, FKM, plastic, brass, stainless steel, and steel. More than 500 pressure switches available daily from stock.
