What is a non-return valve?

A non-return valve is used to prevent liquids or gases from flowing back. The valve offers passage in one direction. A non-return valve operates by means of a spring that opens as soon as the minimum opening pressure has been reached. As soon as the pressure drops, the non-return valve closes by means of the spring. The spring pressure varies per supplier. Available in the following materials: PA polyamide, aluminum, plastic, brass, nickel-plated brass, Nylon 66, polymer, POM, PP, stainless steel and steel. View our range and the options here.
