A safety quick release coupling ensures that a hose can be easily connected and/or disconnected. During disconnection, the safety quick release coupling or the ARBO (= OHS Occupational Health & Safety) coupling releases the back pressure to prevent kickback and to limit the noise level. If you work with safety quick release couplings and hose rupture protection devices, you must comply with among other things the Compressed Air Safety directive (HSG), published by the Health & Safety Executive. In the event of a hose rupture, a quick release coupling can reach a speed of up to 160 km/h. Available in brass, steel or stainless steel.
