Compression ring

What is a Compression Ring?

A compression ring is a ring or cap that is mounted between a pipe or pipe for attachment, connection, sealing or reinforcement. Compression rings are the safe way to fix water pipes or gas pipes without using heat such as welding or soldering. In a compression fitting or compression fitting, the compression ring is located between the housing (the compression fitting) and the compression nut.

How does a compression ring work?

The valve and compression nut both have tapered sides in which the compression ring fits. By tightening the compression nut using a spanner, the compression nut can be tightened to exert pressure on the compression ring. This creates a reliable seal without the use of heat, so that there is no risk of leakage, splitting, damage and no wear.
The compression fittings in our webshop have been approved by KIWA and GASTEC.
