SMC boosters are (double-piston) pressure boosters that are designed to increase the working pressure of the compressed air. They are ideal for applications where an end-of-line component requires a much higher pressure than supplied by the standard compressed air network. This solution is cheaper than purchasing a high-pressure compressor.
