What is a Pressure Relief Valve?

A pressure relief valve monitors the pressure of compressed air systems or liquids and gases by means of a setpoint (SP). As soon as the set value (SP) is reached, the valve opens. A pressure relief valve closes as soon as the pressure falls below the set SP again. Do you have a PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) on your system? Request the certificate for overpressure protection. Available in the following materials; aluminum, brass, stainless steel and steel.
