In het centrale persluchtnet wordt aangezet samen met de compressor. Bij NOOD kan dit ventiel er voor zorgdragen dat het persluchtnet SNEL ontlucht. M.a.w. indien er iemand in een machine vast komt te zitten kan men met één klap op de NOODKNOP de gehele machine DRUKLOOS maken.
Dit ventiel moet standaard aanwezig zijn in de centrale persluchtverzorging bij iedere machine in Nederland
