Ball Valve

How does a Ball Valve work?

A ball valve contains a closing unit that can be operated manually, pneumatically or electrically. This ball valve ensures that a flow of liquid or gases can be shut off. Inside the ball valve is a rotating ball which contains a bore or gate in the middle. When the valve is positioned so that the bore is aligned in the same direction as the pipeline, liquid or gas can flow through it. At a turning angle of 90 degrees, the bore is placed perpendicular to the path, which means that the valve is closed and the fluid cannot pass.

The pneumatic ball valve is supplied with an actuator and optical position indicator. Available in nickel-plated brass, stainless steel, plastic and high-pressure version, 2-way and 3-way and single or double acting version. With the exception of the 3-way ball valve; you can select this with an L or a T bore. In case of a T bore, there are 3 options.
