What is a Backflow protection?

Backflow preventers are necessary to prevent polluted water from flowing back into the water supply network. When polluted water flows back, this affects the taps and the overall hygiene. You could install a non-return valve in every water pipe as a backflow preventer. At ICH BV you will find different types of backflow preventers.
