What is a Water Stop?

A water stop is a hose rupture protection. The water stop measures a cycle. This can be set between 5 and 50 liters of water per cycle, here the consumption of the machine is often considered. To measure a cycle, a minimum flow is needed to start the mechanism. If something goes wrong in the machine or pipe, the water stop will block the water supply after the set amount of water has been reached. This way, serious water damage can be limited.

You can reset the water stop by pressing the reset button. A water stop can be used on many different types of machines such as washing machines, dishwashers, coffee machines or other drinks machines.
